I think I’m nineteen. And when I feel like it, I listen to the conversations that are buzzing around me in public places; though sometimes I’m in them, and sometimes I’m not. Sometimes, I even get to listen to things that I myself cannot believe were coming out from some people I know (or I thought I did).

the seemingly endless possiblities

that i know were there once they

led me astray

unsettling beauty like can in a can

ironic is the iconic glacier in

different sphere

would the world be blue if i tried

to kiss you to your death

like a word to the real

in me for the clandestine feel

leave away so the taste of wine

on your silver platter

these would have beens, could have

beens, should have beens

still the one they know so well

will not betray them so frail

lest i read into your fondness

in a mocking fraud avail

grace the one in time the one you see

the one they lost the one they flee
